Where Hip Hop is Our Hustle

I ask a question to all of you, is there a difference between growth and change? My answer is yes there is I don't like to think that I have change I like to think that I have become more of who I really I am. I have had some people say that its the same, I say that people resent change and that's why people seldom do change you are who you are before you got here, growth is something that you do if your luck enough to learn from your mistakes. My friend said that change is inevitable and I do agree with that, But I’d like to ask all of you if someone came up to you and asked you to change how would you respond, I know that most people would say f*ck you I like me the way that I am. If you come to terms with yourself and say to yourself I want to be better then what you are right now then that in my eyes is self-growth and that will take you further then anyone trying to force change on you. This something that I had on my mind and I would love to get your feedback is there something between growth and change?

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, thought like a child, and reasoned like a child. When I became a adult, I gave up my childish ways. Now we see only an indistinct image in a mirror, but then we will be face to face. Now what I know is incomplete, but then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.

Right now three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love

I believe (and mind you this is by no means meant to be prophetic) that growth and change are different but inevitably connected. Change, regardless of how your recognize it will occur. People fight it their whole lives against change without success while others spend their lives thinking they haven't changed at all, only to be pleasantly (depending on the case) surprised.

Growing though seems to always flow in a positive direction. Even if you don't necessarily make drastic changes in your life, you may simply "grow" more comfortably into your identity. This, I believe is still change as well.

Truth Be Told. There is a difference between growth and change, but see so many people change as they grow they confuse the two as being the same. Some people change and don't grow. Thier growth is ass backwards. They say you change who you are as a person every 5-7 years. You also tend to shed aquaintances in that amout of time. your circle is never guite the same. Hopefully as people chage they learn how to evolve. Even bacteria evolve from prior experiences. The shit that damn near destroyed it before has to work harder to have the same effect the next go around. The body evolves daily, it develops immunity to what weakened us before. so why can't the conciousness?
