DG Quarterly - Profilin' Mixtape II Submissions Begin
The last DG Mixtape Profilin' was a great project to help new emcees get their music out there and heard as well as our first little dip on that side of the pool. Now, we're going all in and we're looking for some new music, new submissions and some hungry artists who want to get put on as well. The new mixtape entitled "Back to the Beginning" is begins to take shape starting today with the opening of the submissions. You can now send in your tracks for consideration on this new project.
WHY YOU WANT ON:
First off its free promo. No jokes, no games if your about your music and want to get yourself heard you NEVER, EVER turn down some free promo. Especially one where it requires little work on your part or work you love doing anyway. If you say your about your hustle then you should be jumping all over this.
We will create most of the promo materials for you! Online fliers and event postings on most of the social networking sites. Online radio plugs, its all there and we'll put that work in for you. You'll also be able to throw up these fliers and links on your site and knowing all the other artists on this mixtape will be doing the same increases the chances you reaching and grabbing a new fan.
Finally its Digital Grime, we are here to help promote this thing we call hip hop. This music we love in all its forms. No one will push to get you heard harder than you, except maybe us. Good luck to all of you!

French. Thanks for the enthusiasm but you have to follow the rules to submit and send your trax to the email mentioned above. Also, We cannot accept any tracks with signed artists mixed in (for legal reasons of course).

Once we send in a track, how will we know if it is going to get put on the mixtape? I dont want to tell people that one of my songs is going to be put onto a mixtape only to find out it didn't get accepted.

UPDATE: We have several tracks from MCs that have been selected to be on the mixtape and I know we have more to follow. Because of the size of these files we have a new email: digitalgrime@gmail.com where you can send in your MP3 files. Expect to hear more info on who was selected in the next few days.
